Firebird Metals Limited has achieved a significant milestone, with international customer testing confirming production of ultra-high purity manganese sulphate (MnSO₄) exceeding 99.99%, surpassing industry standards. Impurity levels are significantly below Chinese industry standards, validating Firebird's proprietary processing technology. These results support ongoing commercial discussions with global OEMs and battery manufacturers, enhancing Firebird's position as a potential Western supplier of advanced manganese-based battery materials.

The Australian Demonstration Plant (ADP) remains on schedule and within budget, producing qualification samples for customer testing, strategic partnerships, and future commercial offtake opportunities. High purity manganese sulphate prices have increased approximately 23% year-to-date, driven by demand from electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

The in-line impurity removal process adopted by Firebird offers superior purity outcomes and process efficiency compared to conventional methods. The ADP will further demonstrate Firebird's processing expertise and downstream processing capability, supporting the transition to commercial-scale production.
