The Project is located within the Peak Hill Mineral Field covering 5 blocks, or approximately 15.7km2 of the established mineralogical terrain of the Southeastern Pilbara Mining District.
Hill 616 shares similar geological characteristics to Oakover highlighted by shallow, gently dipping geology.
Hill 616 has undergone extensive historical drilling with 116 holes for 4,900m completed, over a strike of 2.2km. This drilling resulted in an Inferred Mineral Resource of 57.5 Mt @12.2% Mn.
Hill 616 is an important Project to Firebird and provides exciting and significant exploration and development growth upside.
